Reasons i don't like people #1

It was a beautiful sunday afternoon, and i had just finished a nice late lunch. Walking back to my truck i was just stepping into the cross walk on a small side street when i noticed a Prius that looked like they were going to run the opposite stop sign. I stopped. but so did they, with about 2/3 of the car past the white line. he waved me across. before i had hit the other side he was racing past me. Now this is where it may be my fault but as he passed i pointed at the sign he had almost ran and yelled that even a prius driver had to stop at the stop sign. To this he laid on his funny sounding Prius horn for the whole block past me and was yelling and gesticulating wildly. Did i mention he had his whole family in the car with him.

I was scared that he was going to run the stop sign, and you know EVERYONE has to STOP not slow down not roll not I am sure it is clear, not why the hell are you in my way and MAKING me stop at the stop sign. There is a social contract that we all agreed to when we applied and got our licenses.

Yet my pointing out how he was effecting me with his actions. How he needs to stop at stop signs to keep from hitting someone Car bike, jogger etc... that he "just didn't see".

I wasn't belligerent, a smart ass maybe ( i have noticed a seemingly disproportionate amount of reckless driving from Prius owners) to this he screams and yells at me.

I hate this about humans.
